End Of Summer Vacation

The Summer of 2006 is almost over and our family hasn't made time for an honest vacation this year, but I am taking a couple weeks off from this show to catch up on some other things. We'll still have some great shows on Sirius, with my pal Java doing the honors on August 30th and a smokin' NoeZone episode on September 6th.

We'll be back with a new Frank Truth shortly after Labor Day, with great news about a new Frank Sinatra release, and I may be posting some here in the meantime.

I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude to Adam Curry for all that he does for other Podcasters, and particularly for the many times he has promoted this show. For anyone who found us through ADAMTHEFRANKTRUTHISAPODCASTTOO.COM, welcome! Enjoy our archived shows for the next couple of weeks until we have a fresh episode up.

We Have A Winner!

I received an email this afternoon from Brian in Erie, PA.
Ring-a-Ding-Ding, baby.

The guitarist's name is Matt Azzarto and his connection to the Chairman's familia is he co-produced Nancy Sinatra's 2004 self-titled release on Sanctuary Records, plus co-wrote one song on the disc and played bass and guitar.

Keep up the great podcast. I never miss it.
So Brian is the winner of our fabulous $12.84 Amazon Trivia Giveaway. Congratulations!

Here's a link to more information about Matt Azzarto.

By the way, I think I incorrectly identified Matt by the Skanatra stage name of "Chairman Sunbeam." If I've got it right this time he's actually "Fathand" (and Fran Azzarto is the Chairman).

Still A Kick

Tim Dressen sent me this pic after subscribing to Sirius recently. This sort of thing just tickles me. If my mom were alive, I'd email it to her. Thanks Pal!
