On February 19th, 2005 I released the first episode of The Frank Truth. Here's how it sounded.
You can download the file for future reference (and mockery) here.
Though the program has certainly evolved over the past four years, the basic idea of the show - to celebrate Frank Sinatra's life, career and legacy in a way that is respectful toward his memory - has endured. Whenever I have failed in that, I hope you will forgive me.
I've made some good friends from all over the world as a result of The Frank Truth, and gotten acquainted with hundreds of Sinatra fans, each of you with your own special story to tell. Thanks for your emails of encouragement and your contributions to the program.
I've heard that the band for the production is top-notch and my wife and I have been wanting to check out The Rosebud for some time now. It's reputed to be quite a luxurious venue with state-of-the-art sound and stage facilities, and it's only a half-hour drive from where I live.
