Hurricane Relief Message

I posted the following message this morning, urging listeners to keep the victims of Hurricane Katrina in your thoughts and prayers, and to donate if you can.

I donated at the American Red Cross Website this morning, and it only took a few minutes. My wife and I will also give blood at the next Red Cross drive in our town. You may wish to consider doing the same.

Here's some more on the relief efforts.

Hurricane Relief Effort. With the effects of hurricane Katrina still being tallied, relief efforts have begun. The hardest-hit areas are now receiving basic aid, such as shelter and meals. [NPR Programs: All Things Considered]

The Man With The Golden Arm

The 50th Anniversary Edition of the classic Sinatra film "The Man With The Golden Arm" will be released in Mid-October. This is one of Frank Sinatra's most impressive performances on the screen.
