Three Years Of The Truth

The Frank Truth began on this date three years ago. At times, especially in the beginning, it has been a somewhat clumsy attempt to share my love for "all things Sinatra," but it has always been genuine in that purpose. My sincere wish is that the show will always be a respectful tribute to the greatest entertainer in history.

The Frank Truth is a labor of love. It has never had a sponsor. It costs me countless hours to produce (at considerable expense) and generates virtually no revenue. Still, I wouldn't change a thing.

To the thousands around the world who have listened to this program, I thank you. It's a pleasure to receive your emails and comments, and to know that you enjoy the show. It's also been wonderful getting to know some of you a little better in ongoing email conversations over the years.

I hope that in the coming year we can create more opportunities for interaction among all of us as we celebrate together the life, the career and the legacy of Francis Albert Sinatra.

And I heard about your show because it got mentioned on Adam Curry's Daily Source Code. I don't remember when that actually was, but I became a fan as well. Happy Birthday.

thanks, pal

i almost blogged about this - three things stand out as the most thrilling moments during my tenure producing the show: when adam replied to an email i sent him, when nancy sinatra posted a link to the show at the top of the sinatrafamily.com news page, and when you sent me that first message (out of the blue) inviting me to be part of adam's daily show on sirius

little did i know that it would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship (and partnership)

this show is much, much the better for your influence, my friend

Brian,

Happy Anniversary. I can't recall how I stumbled upon your podcast. It must have been while surfing for Frank-related information.

What I do recall is how you introduced me to the new media sensation of podcasting - especially Catholic shows. Your occasional references to Paul Camarata's "Saintcast" has forever changed my life.

Your efforts will surely be rewarded in Heaven. I still listen to your old shows during my walks.

God Bless, Gerard
