There's a good example in this one of what happens when I don't use a script. Toward the end of the show I meant to say that I was glad things worked out for Rocky, if not for Santa. What came out instead turns out to be pretty bizarre in context. Chalk up another senior moment. :^)

Today We Celebrate An Extraordinary Life

Today marks the anniversary of Frank Sinatra's birth. Celebrations are happening in the town of his nativity, in New York City and all over the world.

Special observances are happening online and on the radio too.

An exclusive video has been made available on the Official Website. It's from a performance at Carnegie Hall on June 25th, 1980. Members are also sharing their own remembrances on the forums there.

Sirius Satellite Radio's Siriusly Sinatra channel is playing his music all day as well.

In our household, we'll be listening to Sirius and to Sinatra's Christmas albums, and will watch some Sinatra movies this evening.

I hope that wherever you are, you'll be joining the celebration in your own way.
